Where I Get My Custom Packaging Supplies Made

Branding and brand recognition is one of those things that can really help a business stand out but one that can also be pretty costly. There are many ways to get your stuff branded, including DIYing. Which I absolutely recommend at first. But if you feel you want to go beyond that, what I do is below along with my quantity recommendations. They are just recommendations, most of these you can purchase at significantly lower quantities they’ll just be significantly more expensive per order.

Thank You Cards

My thank you cards are jut 4x6 postcards that I put in a cello sleeve to keep the stickers together in the envelope. I just Vistaprint for mine as I have found they are the best quality. You can pay yearly membership fee to get 40% off basically everything in the store. Its 100% worth it if you will be buying anything from them (including post-its, tote bags, pens, mugs, signs, etc) with any regularity. I buy mine in quantities of 4,000 at a time to get them down to .03 cents a piece. This one would be totally fine to go with a lower quantity though.

Rigid Mailers

I use Uprinting to get my ridged mailers printed. I don’t necessarily recommend other things on their site though; I had some issues with some notepads that left an icky metaphorical taste in my mouth for their other products, but I’ve been happy with their mailers. I use the 7”x9” mailers for stickers, keychains, bookmarks, notepads, and other small items. I buy them in a minimum quantity of 3,000 at a time. It puts them at about .50 cents a piece after shipping which to me is comparable to plain mailers you can get off amazon.

Water Activated Tape

Sticker Mule routinely has a deal where you can get a roll for $9, and I definitely recommend that if you’re just starting out with branded packaging. But if you’re using it with any regularity, try Vistaprint! Its thick and has nice color quality / clarity and is relatively inexpensive. If you do that yearly membership thing I mentioned before its even cheaper.

Bubble Mailers

While I don’t normally like using Sticker Mule because of their CEO’s political leanings, they have the best option for low cost bubble mailers that I have been able to find. I am actively looking for somewhere else though!

Custom Boxes

I use customboxes.io for my branded boxes. They are about the same price as buying blank ones off amazon! They aren’t full color but I don’t feel that’s necessary for everyday use. Especially since most full color box options end up not being recyclable since they normally use a coating to protect the design.
